Little Gardeners is an outdoor early childhood program that educates the whole child in a nurturing environment. “Planting Seeds of Love and Learning” is our mission each and every day. Teaching a thirst for lifelong learning is just as important as growing love for oneself, for one another and for nature. We strive to equip the next generation of keiki with the tools to sustain our island home and have a lifelong mindful approach in everyday life. We believe that focusing on social- and emotional skills at an early age is of utmost importance in promoting compassion and mindfulness.
Our curriculum includes everything traditional preschools offer with an emphasis on personal- and interpersonal skills, music, art, gardening, cooking and science. Creative play, child centered activities, and process-oriented learning, build the center of our program and encourage self-expression, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our small class size provides a personal school experience for both children and parents and is ideal for families that are interested in playing an active role in their children’s education.
“Tell me and I will forget,
Show me and I may remember and
Involve me and I will learn.”
